THE LOTTERY
Here begins the story……………………………
In England there is a village called White Cloud Village. In White Cloud Village the residents are of
White in colour.. In White Cloud Village, Clouds are WhiteI,clothes are White, people are White,
Cottages are White and so on .Altogether everything is White as snow.Thus got the name WHITE
CLOUD VILLAGE.
There is an old women lived in WHITE CLOUD VILLAGE. She is very beautiful and attractive even though
she is old. Her character so good that people loves her. Her name is White Women. The villagers called
her as “White Princess”. She has sons and daughters. They do not take care of the old lady. So she
lives alone in a cottage.
She has an habit of taking lotteries in every evening. She does not win even a single prize from
the lottery contest.Eventhough she does not win any prize she does not give up the character of
taking the lottery in the evening.
One day she went to lottery station and took a lottery. On the same day she dreamt that she has
won the first prize for her lottery ticket.
The next day the lottery result announced. That day she not lay from bed. The lottery seller
came to her house to say she has won the first prize in the lottery contest.He cried/called her
name.Nobody answered from inside the cottage.So the lottery seller got inside the house and
found her dead in her bed.The lottery seller said “Alas!Finallly she got the prize , but she is not here
to receive the prize ‘’.
